Mother's Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. Mine was spent with family at my sister's house for a delicious brunch. I thought I would show you a couple things that I made for my mom, which I spent most of Saturday finishing up. I finished the blue turkish slippers I was working on and added some insoles covered with an Amy Butler stripe. I also put together a photo transfer pillow for my mom. I have been wanting to try photo transfer for some time and there is some good information on it at Craftster. I used freezer paper to print the photo image right on a piece of muslin and it worked great. I used some tan wool for the pillow, used black felt for 'photo corners', and added some vintage buttons.
The rest of her gifts were an antique picture frame and a little pitcher which I put a tiny rose plant in. And of course some chocolates!
