WIP and apron giveaway...

Fiona at Hop skip jump suggested a couple weeks ago a 'work in progress' Friday post. I have been meaning to join in...I'm just a little late getting started. I'm working on another skirt, below...

It's a New Look pattern #6953 (Easy). The fabric is a very lightweight cotton in taupe with little roses. It has an elastic/drawstring combination waist and I am making View E with the plain hem just below the knee. I would like to also try one with the little ruffle at the bottom. I have seen lots of great posts lately about skirts ~ they seem to be very popular.

There are more works in progress lurking, but I just didn't get them together for pictures. Next time, maybe I will be a bit more organized.

Also, as promised, the aprons have been mailed out to Dawn and Jenny just today, along with a few little extra goodies. Here's a peek at their packages...
I hope they reach their destinations safely. This giveaway has been a lot of fun for me, and I hope to be able to do one again in the future as a way to show my appreciation to all of 'you' who visit!
