Happy Valentine's Day

These beautiful roses were waiting for me this morning, a Valentine's gift from my sweetheart!
Outside, today, things are pretty blustery thanks to a winter storm. I took my camera with me when I went out to the barn and henhouse...the birds probably do not think this is looking very welcoming...

The hens will not step foot outside...

When I got to the barn door, Bailey (our barn kitty) was peering out the door at me. Her little escape route under the big sliding doors was completely snowed in ~ she was very happy to see me with her afternoon snack, as were the horses...

Have a great Valentine's Day!

Beautiful Flowers and great pictures!!! Are they peach roses? Those were the first I ever got from my hubby 24 years ago. Oh I love them. Enjoy the snow its so pretty. I am off my foot for 8 weeks so I will be enjoying all our views here but they are not nearly as pretty as yours:)

  2. Happy Valentine's Day Deb.
Beautiful roses. We were hit with a winter storm as well and ended up with an additional 2 feet of snow this morning keeping us indoors.

  4. Brrr! I can't get over how much snow the north is getting this year. My hubby and I lived in Maine for several years -- only a couple of times did we get over a foot of snow all at once. Stay cozy!

Beautiful flowers! Happy Valentine's Day! :o)

Love the picture of the yellow roses (my favorite) in the pitcher. How special! And how pretty with the quilt in the background. Hope you had a good Valentine's Day even with all the snow.

  11. I love the picture of the roses, too. I carried yellow roses when I got married (a long time ago!).

We are experiencing the aftermath of a blizzard. Here in the country it looks so beautiful, even if we are snowbound.

Love the beauty of your blog!

  15. Fantastic pictures. It all looks so pretty and I love your little hen house. But I'm not surprised the hens would rather stay inside.

  18. I can see you got a lot of snow in your part of the world too. :) I hope you enjoy it. :) I am not so happy with it, I am longing for spring and summer now.

Your pitcher with roses looks very nice. I love pitchers myself. :)

You asked about my table runner, yes I have been sewing it myself. I have some plans of sewing some small cloths for the kitchen table and kitchen unit too, in the same pattern and fabric.
