a "wandering sack"...

If you have little ones and are up for some sewing, you must check out the 'wandering sack' at The Cottage at Frog Creek. My kids would have LOVED this, when they were younger, for all the hiking, nature walks, and collecting we used to do.
I'm tempted to make one anyway and do some wandering myself...

    The wandering sack sounds like a fabulous idea for those with little ones (I had visited your link earlier another day). That's a bit how I use my backpack on walks now -- to collect things (hopefully not just the mail!) --and making sure I wear something with lots of pockets whenever I go outside into the garden! (Hmm... now that would be everyday!)

    Good job on the summer bag! Very nicely done.
