Those are SO gorgeous! And as an aside, I have to tell you that I love your header photo. It always takes me a minute to recognize the buttons in the bowl...my first thought is always that they are white chocolate covered pretzels. Hmmm...what does that say about me? :)kathleen
Lilacs are my favorite. Unfortunately we don't have any in our yard so I have to covertly go and sniff the neighbors.
Oh how I love lilacs. Yours look so nice scattered around the house. You must smile everytime you walk by.
thank you for sharing! my husband is allergic to lilacs and so we don't have any in our garden, although i love them so much...
Everywhere looks lovely and I bet the lilacs smell wonderful too, I only have a small white lilac tree which has been over for a few weeks, I picked a few blooms when they first came out. Claire
I haven't smelled lilacs for a very long time. I miss that and yours look lovely. I finally made a dishcloth from your Aunt May's pattern. It was a challenge for me as I kept losing focus but now I'm ready to start my 2nd and it should go easier.
Oh, ours are all finished and I already miss them. Enjoy yours x
They look so pretty - none left here, sadly!Pomona x
Beautiful lilacs! Mine bloomed weeks ago and they were also lovely. They're definitely one of my favorite flowers, right up there with my peonies that are blooming now. :)
You have such great light in your house. How do you keep your lilacs fresh? Do you snip the ends?
Love the color of your lilacs! Mine are starting to fade away. They are my favorite spring time bloom. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thanks Kathleen! Nothing wrong with thinking about chocolate, right? ;)
If we were neighbors, I would gladly bring you a bouquet of them!
Yes, and the house smells so much sweeter as well!
Thank you for visiting Stefanie!
My lilac bush is extra special as it was given to me by my dad--it was taken from my grandmother's lilac bush, which had moved with her after she was married...sort of a family heirloom.
Thanks for visiting and best wishes with the knitting!
Thanks Pipany, and glad you stopped by!
Lilacs are one of my favorites. :) LOVE the scent!
Your lilacs are lovely. Ours are just in full bloom now.... a rite of passage into summer is sneaking behind a forbidden hedge at night and picking a bouquet.... or snatching a few while biking down an alley way.
