...the dismantling begins.

  1. It's always hard to leave a place that has been a part of you for a long time. Hope everything goes smoothly for you.

    God bless.

  2. Hi Deb, I hope this move goes well for you and that the next one is the last one you will have to make. I know you had said you would have to make 2 moves as your new home will not be ready for you at this time - I feel your pain. I miss reading your Blog and am looking forward to when you are able to send out notes & photos on a more regular basis. Hope you have a wonderful Holiday weekend.

  7. I see you're moving and I hope everything goes well for you. I've moved only a few times in my life and a couple of those times was moving my parents when they too were waiting for their home to be built next door to us (that's when they were in their early 80s/late 70s - they're adventurous like that) and they too had to live temporarily in a rental. It was no fun (the moving part), but the settling in part is fun. Thankfully, my husband and I never upsized, ha - the only home we've ever owned is only 1200 square feet so we're kind of set here.

    Hope everything goes well,
    Linda : )
