Peach season...

The farm market had a special this week on peaches so I will be freezing lots and baking with some...pie, crisp, cobbler??...one of each maybe.

    ...or simmering in a pan with some caster sugar, water, cinnamon stick, star anise, cardamom, fennel, peppercorns, lemon juice....the peaches taste delicious and the syrup can be kept for up to 3 months in the fridge...

    ....freezing foods & bakes while you're moving....i admire you!

  2. Greetings from the south Coast of England! I never even thought of freezing peaches, to be honest I didn't know you could do it?!

    While I am here I would just like to say; I have been following your lovely blog for ages now, though not much late spring and through the summer as I am always madly busy with foreign language students; somehow I seem to have missed why you are moving on from your lovely home, which I am sure you will miss very much ... I know I will! God Speed.
