We had Spring and warm temps and then rain and now it's cold. I too went to a library sale and got some great bargains. The rain has forced me me inside to clean which isn't a bad thing. I'm so sorry about your hens...especially on Mother's Day. <br />I bought rhubarb that was supposed to grow down here (AR) but it didn't. When I had my acreage in Iowa I had gobs of it and asparagus too and morels.
