Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The corned beef and cabbage are in the crockpot, along with some carrots and potatoes. Later I will make a couple loaves of Irish Soda bread.

We will also be celebrating our daughter's induction into Phi Theta Kappa national honor society and making the Dean's List at her college. Last night we attended a beautiful Honor's Convocation.

Congratulations Stephanie!

May the road rise up to meet you

May the wind be always at your back

May the sun shine warm upon your face

And rains fall softly upon your fields

And until we meet again

May the Good Lord hold you in the

Hollow of His hand.

~An Irish blessing

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Your St. Patrick's day dinner sounds delicious! I just put my Irish Soda bread into the oven (we are having or St. Patty's dinner tomorrow) but I'm little worried about it. It felt like a ton of bricks! Ack!
