Last year I had hardly any blooms on my hydrangea bushes, but this year there was a bumper crop.
I was happy to replace all the old brown ones from previous years with some new ones.
On the chimney cupboard in the sunroom...
...on the corner cupboard in the dining room......on the armoire in the living room...
...and on the dresser also in the living room... Next up, some pumpkins and autumn decoration!
(More 'corners' here.)
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave me comments ~ I'm really overwhelmed by your kindness!
I'm not a blogger or anything, but I really look forward to reading your blog. Right now I am a geezer parent with a new baby and don't have much time, but if I have fun time on the internet, here I am. I made the French Chocolate cake one time--big hit. And all your pictures are delicious. Keep it up. Angela

I love hydrangeas but have always steered clear of any. Are they as hard to grow as I've heard? We have very clay like ground
ReplyDeleteI love hydrangeas! They're my favorite flowering shrub. Sadly I hardly got any blooms this year because of the drought and water restrictions. You got a bumper crop. They look beautiful everywhere you placed them!

Your arrangements look great. I bet they will look really pretty with pumpkins next to them.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Lucky you, to have so many hydrangeas.

Your hydrangeas are so beautiful! At our old house, I had a HUGE bush that stretched from my front door all the way to the corner of my house. It was full of blooms every year. That is truly the only thing I still miss. The dirt here at our new house is so awful I haven't even tried to plant one. I'm hoping that next year I'll get around to it. Enjoy yours - they are just lovely.
ReplyDeleteI am totally jealous of your hydrangeas! I have always wanted a bush that would provide me with so much beauty!
ReplyDeleteThere are no such thing as too much hydrangea. I simply love the bush and love all the lovely soft shades of blue, pink and green they come inn. Yours were just lovely ! Wish you a lovely weekend from across the water !
ReplyDeleteI, too, love hydrangeas.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, so do the deer that frequently patrol our yard. They eat them just about the time I'm ready to pick them.
Yours are lovely.
Your hydrangeas are gorgeous! I just planted a hydrangea in my garden and I can't wait for it to bloom so I can dry them. ~ Lynda ♥

We too have had a bumper crop of hydrangeas this year in England due I think to the terrible wet summer we have had. They like a heavy soil but do not like very hot weather or drought, best planted in a shady spot and watered well if it's very dry.I have always had at least one in the garden of every home that I've lived in and most people here have them in abundance.Love your blog visit most days.
ReplyDeleteOur Hydrangeas were practically NON EXISTENT this year... I was so sad. We have been in such an awful drought I'll be surprised if it does anything next year either. Yours look wonderful - I love the corners you tuck them into! Em
ReplyDeleteI love hydrangeas....I wish mine were big enough to produce!
ReplyDeleteI am patiently waiting for blooms.....
A few more years I hope!
Thank you for shareing yours with us!
Blessings, Dolly
