For me, summer is the perfect season for quick and easy knitting.
Last summer I knit a zillion dishcloths; this year in addition to some dishcloths, I've been knitting up wool mug cozies. I came up with a design using a mock cable stitch from Barbara Abbey's "The Complete Book of Knitting"... ...aaaand as a small thanks to all of you who come by and offer your kindness and support, I would like to give some away. I will be offering one a week for the next three weeks. Also, as a gift to all, I will be posting the instructions for the mock cable cozy pictured.
If you would like a chance on the one above, just leave a comment on this post to that effect. I will leave comments open until Saturday morning and will announce a winner on Sunday. I will also try to have the instructions ready to post at that time.
{If you really want a mug cozy right away, feel free to check out the ones I've added to the shop.}
Thanks everyone, and good luck!

I know I've peeked in a little too late, but let me say that I love that little cozy! I've been doing a lot of thinking about holidays and little gifts for special people and now I know that I can purchase plain little mugs, knit up cozies, fill the mugs with sweets (or sugar-free sweets) and voila! Gift! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving my brain a kick. :)
