pincushion/needlebook swap

Now that swap packages have been sent and received, I can show you some pictures...
...this is the pincushion and needlebook I made for Louise. The pincushion is something I've seen out and about on the web, and it wasn't hard to figure out the construction. I had a lot of fun with the needlebook...
...and decided to add some little pockets for measuring tape, thread, needle threader, and scissors...
This is the package I received from Louise, all beautifully wrapped...
...and containing this pretty pincushion and needlebook...
I can't wait to see what the next swap will be. Thank you Rhonda, Sharon, and Louise!

Deb

Your work is so nice and always looks beautifully finished. Do you use a particular ink when you stamped the 'needles' part? I liked looking at ALL the swap photos...so lovely.

  6. Those are so beautiful, both the ones you made and the ones you received! I wish I knew how to sew. I've tried in the past. I just make a mess. So I appreciate those who can do it well. :)

Hello Deb! Thanks for taking part in the swap. Being the recipient of some of your goodies in the past, I know them to be fabulous. This swap is no exception. Your package from Louise is beautiful as well. Well done to you both.

  8. These are just beautiful. I have never done a swap. I did win a great gift from Connie over at acootiebug.blogspot.com. I loved receiving it.
