It's safe now
to reveal some of the gifts I knit
for Christmas.
These fingerless gloves are
a pattern for Gardner's Gloves
a pattern for Gardner's Gloves
from Debbie Bliss's book,
The first pair,
for a friend,
were knit in Peruvian Highland Wool,
sport weight, from Knit Picks...
The second pair, for a daughter who doesn't
appreciate wool, are made with Comfy Sport,
a pima cotton/acrylic blend.
I think they've been worn almost
every day since Christmas...
Since they are knit on straight needles
they worked up fairly quick.
Seaming was a bit tedious, but for me,
preferable to working with double points--I just
don't have the coordination for them
with tiny finger openings.

My daughter in law promised my grandaughter that I would make her a pair of fingerless gloves. Yours look just right. I looked on your Ravelry page, but don't find anything. Did I look in the wrong place? Help!
