Just wondering if you are watching Cranford? I missed it Sunday night, but was happy to find out that the first episode can be seen online here.I have not gotten through it all yet, but so far I like it very much ~ the scenery, the costumes, the accents, the humor ~ I will be sure not to miss it this Sunday!

P.S Husbands hat is nearly finished but may be a little on the large side!!

I'm so glad to see you are letting others know about this show. I've so enjoyed the first installment and I can't wait for this Sunday evening. Elizabeth Gaskill novels are wonderful and if you like Cranford you will love Wives and Daughters. Check it out!

ReplyDeleteI had already seen it on utube from a link someone had provided some time back. Of course, there you have to watch it in increments. I already told my DH I want the DVD when it comes out (or is it already?). It is a lovely story.

Cranford was filmed not far from me - at Lacock in Wiltshire.

I missed episode 2 and watched it online yesterday (wish that was available for everything). I love it and sad to say I had never heard of Elizabeth Gaskell until MP. But I'm so excited to have a new author to explore!
