Now that swap packages have been sent and received, I can show you some pictures...
...this is the pincushion and needlebook I made for Louise. The pincushion is something I've seen out and about on the web, and it wasn't hard to figure out the construction. I had a lot of fun with the needlebook...
...and decided to add some little pockets for measuring tape, thread, needle threader, and scissors...
This is the package I received from Louise, all beautifully wrapped...
...and containing this pretty pincushion and needlebook...
I can't wait to see what the next swap will be. Thank you Rhonda, Sharon, and Louise!

ReplyDeleteI wish I hadn't missed that swap!

Your work is so nice and always looks beautifully finished. Do you use a particular ink when you stamped the 'needles' part? I liked looking at ALL the swap photos...so lovely.

Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteThe needlebook and pincushion you made are so pretty. You sew beautifully! The set you received is pretty too!
Paula
Love your needlebook! Very nicely done, love linen :)
ReplyDeleteThose are so beautiful, both the ones you made and the ones you received! I wish I knew how to sew. I've tried in the past. I just make a mess. So I appreciate those who can do it well. :)
ReplyDeleteHello Deb! Thanks for taking part in the swap. Being the recipient of some of your goodies in the past, I know them to be fabulous. This swap is no exception. Your package from Louise is beautiful as well. Well done to you both.
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful. I have never done a swap. I did win a great gift from Connie over at acootiebug.blogspot.com. I loved receiving it.
ReplyDeleteI keep wanting to get involved in a swap, but, always seem to miss the boat. There is nothing like a little something in the mail to put a smile on your face and remind you of the wonderful friends out there waiting to be a part of your blog family.Kudos to both for beautiful work and timely follow-thru.
ReplyDeleteLovely needle book and pin cushion. Looks like this would have been a fun swap to do.
