It has been the coldest winter on record so far, since the Blizzard of 77, so I'm thankful for a little break and glad to be headed to Florida with my Mom, my daughter, and a sister. This is what we will leave behind...
I will be closing the shop til I get back--and posting a few pictures {reruns} here while I'm away.
How odd, Deb! Your place looks like my place! Seems we have all had our fill of old man winter. I am SO looking forward to some spring-like weather! Can't wait to get outside and work in the gardens! Have a most enjoyable break from the harsh weather!
Enjoy the sun and warmth while you can! Though I have to admit we've actually been on the cold side here in Myrtle Beach compared to the last 2 winters we lived here. Relax and refresh!!!
I don't blame you for looking forward to Florida although the snow does look like a good excue to stay inside and bake and knit....but only for a couple of days not wekks on end, which is what it sounds like it's been doing.
Hey Deb, I'm heading to Florida on the 14th for one week with our youngest to visit my mom and dad. Please make sure you warm up the state for us, OK? LOL
A safe journey to you and your family Debbie. I wish you all a good visit with one another.
Your photos are sure lovely, but I know that eventually the snow and cold does become a bit much if it stays around for awhile. It's certainly taken its toll on your part of the world this year.
Thank you for taking time to leave a comment--I love reading each and every one! I will try to answer any questions you have in the comment section. Due to the amount of spam, I am sadly no longer able to accept Anonymous comments....Kindly, Deb

ReplyDeleteWe are also in the northeast and our place looks similar. We are expecting an ice storm Tuesday...you can be glad you'll miss that. :-)

ReplyDeleteDo you keep heating on at all when away, or do you close up the house and leave it? It is so hot here right now, hard to believe.
