I enjoyed seeing your kitchen again - I remember when you redid it and it was such an inspiration then. And again now! Thanks for sharing it with us. Your dishes and accessories are wonderful but I like your handmade things best. You have a nice decorating touch and it always makes me smile! ~Adrienne~
Your kitchen is WoNDerFul! Looks so real and inviting. Love the apron sink! I've been lurking your blog for a while. I bet I knitted about 15 of your waffle dishcloths for Christmas gifts...how in the WORLD do you sell those for so little $!?
Love this kitchen! The combination of the new mixed with old elements, vintage, antiques and handmade pieces really creates a cozy creative environment for cooking and just hanging out. Thanks for sharing your labor of love.
I love your kitchen, always have (from seeing pictures) - and especially now from reading how you "salvaged" AND refurbished so much of it to "new usage". That is so cool!!
I have a question, for you and I can't remember if I have ever asked you this before - so sorry if I have. I also have a porcelin kitchen sink... How or what product do you find to use to keep it SO WHITE? I have never had one before...so this is new to me...I feel mine is so stained from years of (??) and, I've tried bleach, Bar Keeper's friend, etc... still, it feels so dingy. Can you help? or suggest any thing? Anyone??
Love your kitchen, it is so country and cozy which is what I gravitate towards. I am going to use some of your ideas when we redo my kitchen! Ditto on the question Bevy asks.. I too have a enamel sink and wonder how to get stains out of it?
So, do you ever miss having 2 sinks? I'll be re-doing a bad kitchen in the future and i really like your sink, but I'm afraid I'd want two bowls maybe just because I'm used to it...
Oh MY Gosh! Love that tea cozy! I made tea cozies for everyone for Christmas this year, all copies of one seen on the blog Eyes of Wonder, which happens to have been made by Jenny at Little Jenny Wren. Getting tired of that one now though, and need something new to tackle (along with the new washcloth pattern you recently shared). Would you mind sharing that tea cozy pattern as well?
I wanted to let you know I knitted your dishcloths for Christmas gifts ... Photos are on my blog, if you'd like to see ... Thanks for the inspiration and the pattern!
such a cozy kitchen! love your blog! and I love love the robin's egg blue background! i am a brand new blogger and blogs like yours are such an inspiration!
Love your kitchen. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I wanted to thank you for your generous pattern you share on your sidebar for knitted dishcloths. I don't knit, I crochet. My daughter knits though. I received the best homemade gift from her this year. A set of dishcloths with the pattern you posted. I was so excited. Thanks again.
I LOVE your kitchen!! I don't know what I love best about it... maybe the vintage dishes. It is very warm and inviting. I just want to sit down at the bar with a cup of tea and chat with you!!
