Happy New Year!

Hope your New Year is off to a great
start.
For me, it's the perfect
time of year to clean, organize,
and plan new projects.
Yesterday I started on a deep
clean of the dining room
and removed a few Christmas
things, though most of our
decorations as well as the trees
are still up.
Today I began some more organizing
of the chaos in my workroom,
and things are starting to look
much better already...

Last week I started a couple
projects involving a yard sale
French door
and
a flea market stained glass window,
both picked up over the past summer.
And...
I finally removed the Cinderella
pumpkin from the kitchen shelf,
cut it in half
and filled it with birdseed
for the Juncos who stay here
year round.

Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Love the ironstone in your header =-) I am in a clearing out mode, too. Yesterday I started on the bookcases. It's amazing how many cookbooks I have that I have never and will never use. The paperbacks are getting severely pared down, too. Looks like a trip to The Book Man to drop all these off is coming up. Christmas is still up here...it'll all come down in its own time so I will enjoy it while it is here. =-) Happy New Year!

  11. Happy New Year Deb! I hope you and the family had a lovely holiday together.

I've been wanting to do a little cleaning and reorganizing too. But once I took down all the Christmas stuff My house seemed so bare, I had to dive right into decorating it. A few more days and I'll be into deep cleaning the house.

  15. Love your new header (I struggle with headers!), and I'm so glad to read your Christmas decorations are still up too. I guess I could say ours aren't put away because we observe the 12 days of Christmas, but actually, I just haven't had the gumption yet.
I'm inspired by your lovely workroom -- must get mine in order soon,
Blessings to you this new year,
    GG

  16. Your banner looks fresh and clean and wonderful! Well, my house isn't quite ready for a Mr. Clean inspection but I did wash out my bird feeder and re-stock the bird seed - it's for the smaller varieties: black cap chicadees, wrens and finches.
