Deb I'm still a "new" sewer but am making the move to a proper room -- our spare room. I'll watch your clean up with interest as I'm not sure what i should have where. I like the idea of a blackboard like you have.
I love that desk! It reminds me of my grandpa's desk he had in his office, when I was four years old drew a picture of myself on the top of it with crayons. He never washed it off. He covered that desk with a piece of glass to preserve my "artwork".
What a lovely place to create and work in, and the cover on the footstool looks as good as it first did. I imagine that snuggling down in that inviting armchair, feet up on the footstool and some hand work (be it knitting or stitching) feels wonderful.
Aloha Deb; Your room looks pretty good so far. I think my workroom looked organized and clean only the day I took pictures for the "Where Bloggers Create" party. It's getting cluttered again. Can't wait to see the rest of your room. Hugs.
Thank you for taking time to leave a comment--I love reading each and every one! I will try to answer any questions you have in the comment section. Due to the amount of spam, I am sadly no longer able to accept Anonymous comments....Kindly, Deb

Lovely workroom! It's so fun to see the places where creativity and skill meet. I store some of my laces on old bobbins too -- love how that looks.
