kitchen, by the early morning light

With winter looming ahead,
I'm trying to soak up and savor
every last drop of sunshine.

It looks very nice. Savour it. Photos help because you can still savour light vicariously over the winter.

Don't you just love the breaking of dawn?  Lovely pics and the light is so much softer and kinder.  The start of my day http://flepandco.blogspot.com/2011/10/start-of-day.html

It looks so peaceful & ORGANIZED!
Neither of which my kitchen speaks of, unfortunately. Need to get busy.

Why is it that your posts always compel me to clean all the corners of my home?

  11. Your kitchen looks so cozy and inviting.  I just want to sit down with a cup of peppermint tea and a cinnamon scone and enjoy the beauty of the early morning sun.

Doncha just LOVE early morning sunshine!  I sure do - I think it's my favorite time of day - a fresh new day, a new start, new things to tackle, new discoveries for all my senses! Enjoyed this post!

  17. I'm up early this morning and enjoying the sunshine before the fog inevitably sets in for a few hours.  Is that a working telephone?  We have a vintage 1904 (I think) telephone but it doesn't work of course.  I think the old telephones are so neat.

  18. The phone doesn't work, though I always intended to have it refurbished so it could be used. So, for now it's just a decorative conversation piece.
