this week...

~after a string of warm sunny days
the milkweed pods have been bursting open

~white linen slipcovers have been replaced
with something more fall-like

~I just brought home these books from
the library:

I've read Classic Knits before, but not the rest, so I'll
have to let you know if the recipes are as fabulous
as they look.

~a couple new succulents: a jade plant and not sure about
the other?

~hanging pictures

~working on fingerless gloves from
using a favorite Knit Picks yarn: Wool of the Andes
Sport.  The color, Tidepool Heather, is so pretty,
and a bit more green than it looks in my picture.
The edge of the cuff and fingers is done in a couple
rows of gray.
~
Hope your week is going well.

That picture of the milkweed pods is breathtaking, Debbie! And the other photos just make me want to come and live with you in your home! :)

  5. Love the photos!  The books look interesting, just what I would like to read...and I'm just learning to knit.  It's hard!  Probably because I have to watch youtube every step of the way, but I'll get there.  Really enjoy your posts.
