My day of rest...
...some magazines, some knitting and a cozy fire in the woodstove. And I think I'll check out a local craft show, if I can bear to venture out into the cold.
Have a restful day!

I love the variegated blue yarn you are using. The shawl you are knitting looks like it would be toasty warm sitting by the wood stove.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day.
Lucky you. I hope you have a wonderful day. I've never been able to find the Marie Claire Idees magazine.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a truly lovely day, and such a beautiful spot to relax in! I love the wording around the table.

Hi I just love your knitting, and the Marie Claire Magazine looks interesting too, sounds like a lovely way to spend the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe have just had our first snowfall this evening here in middle England it looks beautiful out so I'm just off for a walk.
I notice alder cones in the cup. Do you have alder trees in New York?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, looks peaceful. My kind of weekend...
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so warm, comfy and cozy. I'd have a hard time leaving, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cozy weekend you have had. I love sitting next to my wood stove knitting away with my girls. We are working on really heavy wool sweaters for the winter. It is getting so so cold here! I also love reading those cozy knitting mysteries during the winter. Blessings, Rose
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to drive right up there and knit with you. Of course you need to teach me how. lol
ReplyDeleteWildside ~ yes, those little cones are from our English Alders, which we planted along the length of one of our lanes.
ReplyDeleteLooks so comfy cozy I don't think I would venture out:). Linda
ReplyDeleteDeb ~ I wanted to wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDelete[And I just want to say that I love all the corners of your home. I spent time on here the other night looking at some of your old posts. Very lovely!]
Looks like a nice restful spot to me.

ReplyDeleteI am waiting to use my/our camera to show what i have been doing lately, but my friend use it every day at his work. So i have to be patience :) I am almost done with a few christmas stockings. I just have to decorate them. This were my first ones. Well, this year everything was my first! (i mean needlework) :))
Enjoy warm crafty days!

you knit such beautiful things! I just posted my pattern for fingerless gloves-though the ones you knitted look lovely. I just hope I got the pattern right. I knit the gloves all the time for my boys and my husband and myself-it is always from memory-they are not fancy but they are warm and cosy! Blessings, Rose
