Besides painting floors and walls recently, I've also
re-painted some other things.
My little metal yard sale stool has gone from green
to black. I've been wanting to try Rustoleum Universal
paint and primer in one, and it worked well.
I used the satin, and one can was just barely enough.
My other paint project was a small table which
I recoated with some diy chalk paint...I''l be back with
some pictures next post,
Deb

DeleteWe've been introducing touches of black in our decorating scheme the past few years. Oh let me be honest, more than "touches"...we now have a black couch which is the perfect backdrop for any color pillows and throws. Love your style!
ReplyDeleteI've been loving touches of black as well--the black couch sounds stunning!....Thanks, Deb
DeleteYour zinnias are lovely! The drought here in IL has really taken a toll on the farmers and on our home gardens. I recently returned from a visit to my brother in Ballston Spa, NY and was shocked at how green everything was and how lush their garden was...it made me want to cry! He said they were having a dry year!
ReplyDeleteAlthough we've been very dry, I can't complain...hope you have some rain soon!...Deb
DeleteTrès joli décor, j'aime !
ReplyDeleteMerci beaucoup!...Deb
DeleteI like it. I've been wanting to do a little spray painting myself. First I have sewing to do. I just got a new machine. Wowsa!

Really nice! Black was a great choice and the bucket of flowers add the whimsical touch. I love it. Fall is on the way!!
ReplyDeleteI have two of these very same stools. One was our booster seat when I was growing up. That's a lot of years ago. In my high school days, I tried a "make over" on that stool that involved wallpaper on the seat. I've learned a lot since then. This week blasted off the ancient wallpaper and it's ready for another redo.
ReplyDeleteBought the second one I bought at a junk store. It's needs paint, too. I love these little stools.
