I put some floral foam in the bottom,
pushed in my candles,
covered the foam with some moss I found in the woods,
then topped it off with some evergreen sprigs, also from the woods,
and some rose hips from my rose bush.
{I've had trouble finding pink and purple tapers, so just used some white ones instead.}

And here is a wonderful idea I learned from Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of Crafts. I recently made some earrings as gifts, and pinned them to some vintage postcards as shown in her book:
"It's a good thing!"
Oh that is a good thing! I like the cards nearly as much as the beautiful earrings.
ReplyDeleteThe candles look lovely. Don't you just love this time of year?
A lovely gift! The earrings look so lovely on the cards, I wouldn't want to take them off.
ReplyDeleteCandles-it's the thoughts and memories the candles invoke, no matter the color.
Very good ideas, I do like the candle arrangement.
ReplyDeleteI love the earrings on the cards they look so vintage! And the candles are lovely also.
ReplyDeleteLove your Advent candle arrangement. I've always thought I would prefer all white candles and it's just right! Thanks for sharing it with us. And the gift ideas are great - love the earrings, too.

Thanks for sharing. If you are looking to promote your brand in a unique way or want to add that special touch to your gifting solutions, an ideal option is to use customized gifts like t-shirts, pens, mugs, bags which have your company logo imprinted on them.
ReplyDeleteHow can something so simple look so beautiful. Your Advent candle arrangement is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThose earrings once pinned to the postcards are perfect for gifts.
God bless.
great idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for the "Advent Wreath" (it didn't go in a circle, but I loved your creativity)! Hint on the candles -- you must buy them off-season, like in the middle of the summer, or something!
