Finally I have finished 'Cynthia' originally posted here. All was originally going great until I got to the neck and didn't have the right sized circular needle. It took me awhile to find locally, and sometimes once a project is set aside I seem to have a hard time picking it up again. But I'm happy now that it is done. I would definitely make it again; it wasn't very difficult (skill level is intermediate) and the fit is good. It was my second try at cables and they are not at all as complicated as I thought they would be.Now if only the weather would warm up, I might actually get to wear it! Our weekend was cool and rainy, although I did get out on Saturday to do some gardening. I planted a rose bush, moved some perennials around, and pulled lots of weeds.
I also enjoyed a great blog post at Storybook Woods on a French Unit Clarice did recently and did a tiny bit of sewing on my skirt. Hope you had a great weekend!
The vest is beautiful Deb. I like the cable, it's very simple and elegant. Bet you can't wait to wear it!
