So, I have been really motivated to get some sewing done. I've been making some bags to add to my shop (long overdue!), and I have also been having fun making some fabric coasters. These below are made from a flea market piece of linen with different patterns woven into it in red.
I also made one with a stamped design to use for my tea mug...
I was also so lucky to receive a package from Lisa that really brightened my day. She sent me this beautiful collage you see here...... and this gorgeous little box containing some great buttons. Thank you again Lisa~I love them both!Thank you again, also, to those of you who sent cards and left kind wishes in comments ~ I appreciate it so much.
I also want to mention the photo in my previous post, which so many of you commented on. The picture was taken by Stephanie of our much loved pony Jessica during one of those amazing fluffy 'snowglobe-like' snowfalls last year.
Welcome back Debbie. I love all the projects! What a generous hubby you have:-) The machine looks superb. I need a new machine so much--what kind did you get?
ReplyDeleteI love the machine!! I looked at some before Christmas thinking I might get a new one. Mine is very old and acts up sometimes. I love the costers!! Very nice!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new sewing machine. They have so many wonderful features now.
ReplyDeleteI love the coasters too!
My machine is one that my husband gave me when we were first married. He just walked in the door with it one day to surprise me. He knew that I had been wishing for one. He worked nights then and I was home alone with lots of time to learn how to use it. It's 30 years old now and still works great. It feels like I'm visiting with an old friend every time I use it.
I'm looking forward to seeing what else this new machine will inspire for you Debbie.
Lucky you . The new machine looks as though it could do the whole job om its own.
