They don't look like a typical tulip, but are still most welcome. 'Old Man Winter' is attempting a come-back here for Easter, and by tonight we may have several inches of snow. I was actually considering putting the winter clothes away~everyone is soooo tired of all the layers by now~but I suppose that will have to wait.
One of this morning's tasks is to plan the food for Easter. Hot cross buns for Good Friday are a must. For Easter Sunday, our traditional ham, kielbasa, chili egg puff, hash brown casserole, fruit, and homemade cinnamon buns.
The intricately decorated eggs are pysanka, a gift from a wonderful lady Mike works with, in appreciation for the fresh eggs that he gives to her.
Still plenty of sewing left to be done. These are the linings of the clothespin bags which are on their way to Cherry Hill Cottage, for what sounds like a wonderful outdoor festival. You can read more about Tina' booth here ~ it sounds fabulous.
Hope all is well with you...
