finally...

...a {late} spring shop update.
I have felt like I've been moving in quicksand when it comes to sewing projects.
Here are a few of the things I have been working on:
drawstring pouches

button pouch

some totes

reversible totes

and a clothespin bag,
the first of many, I hope.

  4. My favorite is the clothes pin bag...perhaps because mine bit the dust this year, and I am now reduced to leaving the pins on the line???

I love the clothespin bag! I guess it's funny that one of the reasons I yearn for a home and to be out of apartment living is so I can put up a clothesline. Completely normal, right?

  8. Please tell me if you used a pattern for the clothespin bag or you just drew it out yourself.
also, I haven't figured out what kind of planks you are putting on that floor. Is it made to be flooring or are you just using them for that. If so, what kind of wood is it? Sorry for all the questions, I love it all! We are do-it-yourselfers too!
    Blessings,

Wow Deb, everything you make is lovely, but, just like the rest I love the clothespin bag, the colours work so well together.
Flooring and rooms are beautiful too.

Hope you are enjoying the summer, it's wet over here.

  20. That clothespin bag is amazing! My mother never had one as pretty as that!! I think I'm going to try to get hubby to put up an old fashioned clothesline for me like we had when I grew up. Or perhaps I should take a lesson from my blog partner, C, and figure out how to do it myself!

  21. LOVE the button pouch.

(And I made an identical floral bag for my middle daughter for Christmas this year. Exact same fabric, handles, size. How funny!)

Love the fabric on the tote. Great clothes pin bag. I love clothes lines and they way clothes smell when I bring them in.We went to Holland 3 years ago and everyone has a clothes line, even apartments. Everywhere we went there were comforters hanging out of windows, (to air them out, I think).
