My whole desk is a nicer place to be
since my formerly boring mousepad
received a makeover.
It just took a scrap of fabric, some spray glue, scissors, and about 10 minutes. For how-to's check out the long thread's 10-Minute Mouse Pad Makeover.
this could make a nice gift idea as well.

{Thanks for your kind remarks on the sweater!}
This is a FANTASTIC idea! Thanks so much for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to try that! Very fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea! I am so tired of plain mousepads or those with the college logo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab idea! I hate my mousepad! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWow what a very cool idea. Mine really need a makeover :-)

Great idea. Love the fabric you picked out, I'm drooling!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI've been planning to do this to my mouse pad for way too long! Now it's time to do it. And you've given me an idea for a gift for my son. I'm going to buy an inexpensive mouse pad and run a favorite photo of him and his boys onto fabric to cover the mouse pad. He will love it and I will enjoy giving from my photos to something special for his office. Thanks for the encouragement to get going.

This is a great idea....I've always been bothered by the ugliness of mouse pads (I know, I know -- it's a silly peave). But, now I can make my desk coordinate. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. What a nice way to brighten up your desk. It's great when just a little touch adds such happiness.

Very cool...I think I could handle making one of those! And just in time for Christmas gift giving too. Thank you. :o)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I've been looking in vain for the perfect mousepad, so this might be the solution.
ReplyDeleteGood idea, I'm going to update my mouse pad at work. It's a little past it's prime/ I have used spray glue and love the ease in which you can easily cover an object and make an even surface. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCute mousepad idea! I also love your completed owl sweater. I've made some tea wallets for ladies at work and some Christmas table runners made by sewing circles of complementary fabrics together. I learned how to make them at a local fabric store but found a tutorial on the Olfa website. They call it the Cherry Blossom table runner. They are lots of fun to make.
ReplyDeleteLove it! That is such a great idea!
