What a busy week, I can't believe it is Friday already.
Looking back, here are a few of the highlights::
Our little farm has a new member--he's a miniature donkey, as yet un-named...but I'm rooting for 'Duncan'.
He's cute as can be, even his ear-splitting 'hee haws',
which luckily are few and far between.
And, everyone seems to be getting along just fine! Not a lot of time for spring cleaning this week, so I picked a small room--another bathroom which I hope to finish up today or tomorrow.
Some fabrics have been gathered for spring sewing--some tops and a skirt or two.
Two books were found on the library sale rack--real treasures for just a dollar a piece.
A Sketchbook of Birds is my favorite...
And, my Drops shawl collar sweater is almost finished, just some buttons to be added. I've already cast-on for the next project, here.
"Duncan" is adorable. Oh how I want a donkey. Don't know the first thing about taking care of one, but have always longed to have one of my own.
ReplyDeleteWell, just how good CAN life get, I wonder? All such good things.
ReplyDeleteLove, Katy Noelle
I was looking for a maple sugaring post but perhaps it was not to be this year. So very much time and work for so little syrup!
ReplyDeleteI totally think you should go with Duncan! He LOOKS like a Duncan!!! He is so sweet! :) So glad to hear what you have been up to Deb! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my! I'd never seen the Drops Design website before. You could've started something. I LOVE both of the sweaters you're working on. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely serene post. Thanks for that link, I haven't visited Drops for a while.
ReplyDeleteI love the bird sketchbook, it is to die for....love the beautiful illustrations. Love the drops sweater too. Can't wait to see it done. Pics please.
ReplyDeleteaww love little Duncan!!
ReplyDeleteDuncan is adorable! I love to visit the blog, 7MSN Ranch, and their two burros, George and Alan. I didn't realize burros were so playful and loving with each other. Duncan should be fun and if you decide to get him a friend -- even more fun!
ReplyDeleteLove your mini! We have a mini-mule named Frankie and I love his Hee-Haws too!
ReplyDeleteI love everything! Great Blog! Kerrie
ReplyDeleteDuncan is so adorable. Our closest neighbor raised minis for a while and his prize mini donkey was named "Jackpot". That was my son's first job when he was about 12 years old he was hired to go over each day and help this neighbor on their donkey farm. I want one now, LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI recently wrote a post on Homemaking and would love your thoughts and comments!
I love Duncan!
ReplyDeleteWe have a mini as well that we named Donk but I think we should rename him Houdini as he is always escaping.
You have a lovely blog!
That's one gorgeous donkey! And yes, he looks like a Duncan!
