winter has finally arrived

Winter has finally arrived, and we've had some cold
blustery days.  Time to put the heat lamp in the henhouse
and plug in the water heater.  Time for heated water
buckets for Jess and Duncan, who has been a bit
cranky since the snow fell. Time for hot cocoa and
staying cozy by the fire.
I've gathered pine branches and red berries for
my advent candle arrangement and for a wreath for the
front door.  I really need to get rid of that pumpkin
still lingering on my kitchen shelf...
Have you begun your holiday decorating?
~

A sincere thanks to all who purchased a grain
sack tote.  For anyone who missed out, this one
has just been added to the shop.

  1. The photo of the tree with red berries is amazing. You chould print it for sure. I can "picture" it in vignette among your homemade things.
