This is what tea time looked like today...
spectacular blue skies,
New Dawn roses beginning to bloom...
lupines, hostas, alchemilla mollis,
and bleeding heart...
the strawberry patch in front of the barn,
the first strawberry shortcakes
were eaten yesterday :)
the most delicious melt-in-your-mouth
and a new book to browse,
a Mother's Day gift
that I am greatly enjoying,
it's called The Comforts of Home: Thrifty and Chic Decorating Ideas for Making the Most of What You Have
~ yes, this is right up
my alley!
After tea, I'm headed off to
gather rose petals for
rose water before I get
started on a long list of chores.
Have a great day!
