Meet Miss Scarlett,
made from a vintage barkcloth curtain panel...
She has an old button front and back,
loads of inside pockets,
leather handles,
and a spring-loaded metal frame opening.
She has high hopes of becoming
a knitting/crochet/project bag,
or an overnight bag,
or maybe even a large handbag.
Though it will be hard to see her go
she's been listed in the firefly farm shop
along with a couple new clothespin bags...
Thanks for taking a look,
and hope you have a beautiful fall weekend!
I always love your project finishes, Deb! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope they sell quickly for you! :)
Miss Scarlet is lovely...all your bags are so nice.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog so much and want to thank you for the dishcloth pattern. I have made about a billion of them. You have amazing taste, and would love to take you shopping for fabric, as I pass right over what turns out simply adorable in your projects. :)
Deb you've outdone yourself with Miss Scarlet. The pockets! So useful. I wish I had your sewing skills.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I love your blog, your sewing and knitting. Thanks for sharing - now I'm going to take a look at your shop !
ReplyDeleteLOVE the new bag and the clothespin bags! The fabrics are great. Wish I could hang my clothes outside here but half the year is "rainy season" and the other half is a "dry season" which would leave the clothes covered in dust! I do remember helping my Mama hang out clothes and her clothespin bag...
ReplyDeleteThanks Dianne-glad you came by :-)

I love all your bags, but the carpet-bagger-type bag, with the dark brown leather strap handles, is my favorite. Love your site! Melissa
