Those look delicious! I'm trying them soon, too. Love your pictures from your walks, and also that orchid. My youngest has been wanting one for her room. That may be a good present for her!
Your doughnuts look delicious! Thanks for sharing the recipe. I would love to try my hand at knitting...do you have any suggestions how I should start? Books, tutorials, etc. that may help.
Tina, here are a couple books that I found quite helpful: Stitch n' B*tch: The Knitter's Handbook by Debbie Stoller and Knitting Without Tears by Elizabeth Zimmerman. If you are having trouble with a particular technique, a google search of it will usually bring up some video tutorials and hopefully you will find something helpful. Also, some yarn shops have knitting groups/lessons. Best wishes!
Thank you for taking time to leave a comment--I love reading each and every one! I will try to answer any questions you have in the comment section. Due to the amount of spam, I am sadly no longer able to accept Anonymous comments....Kindly, Deb
I like your donuts, your orchid and your cosy home.
ReplyDeleteI have the same donut/biscuit cutter! It was my grandmother's. My donuts are never that big though!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm cutting them out too thick-by the time they rise and bake, the hole is squeezed shut.
