Todays fabric finds...
I stopped at the antique co-op in town today after grocery shopping. I didn't have a lot of time but just before leaving I found this vintage fabric which used to be a window valence. Hopefully I can turn it into great handbag or totebag.
These two fabrics I found at WalMart and they're a printed cotton duck--a nice sturdy fabric for more bags.
Now if I can just get some sewing time in...

ReplyDeleteI just bought 4 yards of the same fabric at Walmart last week! (The botanical print) Love it.
I plan on making new covers for my sofa pillows. I truely couldn't believe such a great print was at Walmart. Do you think it's too heavy of a fabric to make an A-line skirt?
I could wear the skirt while I'm sitting on my sofa. Of course!
