It was a beautiful weekend to enjoy some horseback riding. Friday, Mike took the day off and we trailered Sparky to a small horse show about an hour away...
Stephanie's been a bit nervous/frustrated since Sparky put her in the pond during a cross country schooling event earlier this year...
Happily, they both did great and ended up with a First and a Third Place ribbon.
Sunday was perfect weather for a trail ride ~ me on Jessica and Stephanie on Sparky.some fly spray...

Looks like a great time outdoors! It looks like your horse has a little hat on! Is that to keep flies off or jsut because it's cute?

I am so jealous, LOL ; ) I used to spend my weekends doing just this sort of stuff. Your horses are lovely. Congrats on the ribbons for your daughter. It looks like you had a great time.
