Here's a little bit of what I've been doing when not out in the gardens weeding.

...'Owls' by Kate Davies and hoping to have it finished before the snow flies. I'm using 2 strands of Lion Brand wool::color Natures Brown purchased at Joann Fabrics with 40% off coupons.knitting~
baking~ ...Zucchini bread courtesy of Paula Deen, a perfect way to use up those zucchini ~ it's excellent and going fast!

...this yard sale folding table, only $2.50 and transformed with some paint...
And no, the whole floor is not finished yet {did we really think it would be done by July?!} as there's waaay too much outdoor work right now--I will be so glad when it is finally finished!!!

Zuchhini bead..so delicious! So far this year I haven't found anybody who is giving away zuchhini.

Your Table makeover looks great! and I love that knit! If I could commit to knitting something of that Scale I'd want to try this.

I love the pattern and the color. I've started an afghan in a Country blue that I want to have done by the time cooler weather arrives.

The owl sweater is a wonderfully ambitious project. I look forward to seeing it when it is finished. I have bedroom dressers to paint and have been seeing many spray painted furniture pieces on various blogs. Your tray looks so perfect so I’m wondering if it was brush painted or spray-painted.
