what I've been sewing lately

A bit of 'repurposing' has been going on in the sewing room.
A couple of the flea market coffee sacks have been turned into roomy totes...

A vintage tablecloth has been made into a tote bag...


Some Waverly fabric {Hexagon} has become a handbag...



And, some Orla Kiely dish towels and placemats have been made into pouches {more in the shop}...

  8. Oh I love the coffee sacks!!!! They are absolutely FANTASTIC!!! If I had the money...I would snatch one up from ya in a second!!! they are AWESOME and I love the handles you used!!! :)

  17. Your blog is also was inspiring...i have an old USA mail bag i have always wanted to chop for something. But then again it might just stay as a bag for storage...currently full of wool...but i love your totes..especially the refashioned table cloth...very nice indeed..:)
