We had a warm up over the weekend and most of our snow is gone.
I found a little 'springtime' at Home Depot.
They had the most beautiful primulas...
On Sunday I made a round zipper pouch with a small bit of fabric from a yard sale. Not sure if it's vintage, but I love the old fashioned look of it. The zipper was salvaged and happened to match the green in the print perfectly.
Hope your weekend was good!
~Deb

ReplyDeleteThere is just something about flowers isn't there?
ReplyDeleteI love, love the little pouch. It is just perfect.
I just love it when you start to see the springtime flowers in the shops, means spring is just around the corner. After all this snow and cold weather we need something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteLove your pouch too.
Very pretty primula and a very cute pouch!
ReplyDeleteMost of our snow melted this weekend too....which made mud and slush everywhere. I couldn't believe I was actually hoping for more snow so my yard didn't look like a big mud puddle! ;) The past couple days though..we have gotten more snow and it has gotten super cold again!
ReplyDeleteLove the little pouch you made! It's adorable! :)
Oh it was, I finished a quilt! Love the little pouch, cute fabric!

Hi Deb...I just happened to find your blog while surfing others that I follow...How ironic to find yours, as my name is also Debra and I too live in the Rochester area.(Churchville). I have to say though, you are much more crafty that I. That's where we differ!
ReplyDeleteThat pouch is so very sweet!

I bought some primulas recently and a gerbera daisy too. Love the gerberas! Sure brightens up a country kitchen in the middle of winter.
ReplyDeleteAdore your lil pouch, too cute! I really need to dig my sewing machine out from under all the boxes in the closet. I'm getting the itch to sew again. :)
I love that cute round pouch! I'm not sure if I was looking in the right spot in your shop, but didn't see it offered. Do you sell this style? I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet Jeanette
