a gadget cover

From
a 'gadget cover' I knit for my cell phone.
For those times when it gets tossed in
my purse,
this should give it some protection
and make it easy to find.
The pattern was designed for Blackberrys
or iPods and is a perfect project
to use up small amounts of scrap yarn.
More details on my Ravelry page

A perfect sort of knitting project
for a stocking stuffer...Christmas
is exactly 2 months away~can you believe it?
...have you started making any gifts?

I definately need this--lots of little balls of scraps and an iPhone that's starting to get scratched!  Headed over there now.

Oops, sorry--one question.  What level of knitter would you say this book is for?  I'm past beginner...but that's about it.

I made something similar for my cell phone, previously...although mine isn't able to be closed...so my phone falls out..a lot! ;)

Argh - don't remind me - is it really only 2 months away?  I may just knit a few of these too!

Deb, your blog is the first I ever read, almost 4 years ago now, and it's still my absolute favorite. I always joke to my husband that on the days when I'm up to my ears in diapers and toys and little-kid mess, I daydream about what it would be like to live at your house! I wouldn't change a thing about my life, because I adore my kids, and I know that someday they'll be gone, but when I need to feel calm and peaceful (which is quite a lot), I come here and look at your pictures. So thanks for keeping me sane!

  7. Heather, I have wanted to get back to you for some time and let you know how much I appreciate your kind words. How well I remember those busy days and nights when my kids were little-and oh how I miss it/them. Life is still hectic, but in a different way, and I swear I could accomplish more back then in a day than I do now :-) But certainly there are more peaceful moments now, and that is what I tend to focus on here on the blog. I'm glad you stop by to unwind! Thank you so much for taking time out to comment. Kindly, Deb
