Thanks for taking our Christmas tour.
I love to celebrate the Twelve Days of Christmas,
so all our decorations and tree will
remain until Epiphany.
I'm still listening to Christmas music also :)
Hope you're enjoying the season!

Thank you for the link explaining the 12 Days of Christmas. Stacy : )
ReplyDeleteDeb, I have that exact set of figurines in your beautiful crèche! My stable is slightly different (same shape and size but mine is much plainer - I love yours!) my husband bought ours over 25 years ago. It made me smile to see yours!
ReplyDeleteWe will also be keeping our tree and decorations up until Epiphany. I love the Christmas season.
And I just love your blog. Your sweet and simple style is so lovely and just speaks to me.
Lovely pictures! Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, thanks for sharing! xxBrenda
ReplyDeleteDeb, I love celebrating the whole season, as well. I'm still enjoying my fresh wreaths, tree and other decorations. Thank you for describing the way that you slowly come into the season as well as celebrating fully until the epiphany
ReplyDeleteI enjoy celebrating the 12 days of Christmas too. It seems everyone is in a rush to be done with Christmas on the 25th, not realizing that the 25th is the beginning the Christmas season. Thank you for sharing the photos of your lovely home.
ReplyDeleteI still have our tree and decorations up also. I just enjoy the lovely change it makes to our house. Thank you for sharing all of your lovely photos on your blog.
ReplyDeleteWe have taken down the decorations a bit early this year, but we are listening to Sounds of the Season on TV right now. I love Christmas music all year.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas looks lovely!
Glad there's someone else like me, the decs stay up as long as possible here! I also contribute to the Charles Dickens' quote ' I will celebrate Christmas all year in my heart' ( roughly paraphrased!) jennyx
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to still see some beautiful Christmas pictures. I hate that all the greenery and charm of Christmas decorating has to disappear after Christmas is over. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deb, for the beautiful pictures, and the links to the About.com Catholicism GuideSite!
ReplyDeleteI love all the greenery and natural decorations. They really highlight the traditional Christmas ornaments. My Christmas decorations will stay up til the 6th. I had a friend that used to keep her tree up until June which was a lot of fun. Sometimes we would have impromptu Christmas pumpkin pie or some other treat and celebrate all over again. Wishing you a fabulous New Year!
ReplyDeletesimplicity at its best . . .
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary!

Thanks Suzanne! My mother used to work for a family whose entry hall tree was so large, they left it up all year. At Halloween it was covered with a sheet and made to look like a ghost! Happy New Year.

It's funny you mention it-that quote has been on my mind this Christmas. Of course, every year the Scrooge movie with Alistair Sim must be watched!
