gardening & crafting

It's getting busy in the garden
and I am picking:
tomatoes
peppers
green beans
cucumbers
zucchini
dill
blackberries
blueberries - {still}
zinnias
The garlic has been harvested
and the onions are looking huge--what a great year for them--the potatoes and Brussels sprouts are coming along.
I haven't picked any of the eggplant yet...they're kind of small still.
I've noticed the sun is setting a little bit earlier...

Only 3 more days to work on my items for the August Fest, and I'm working like crazy.
If you happen to be there,
please stop by the Firefly Farm table
and say HI!

  6. Oh my goodness...where I live we lost everything. There was so much rain everyone's garden caught blight. It was sad my first year of no garden after so much work. I am happy someone had a great garden..Oh, I did get lettuce!
