...or simmering in a pan with some caster sugar, water, cinnamon stick, star anise, cardamom, fennel, peppercorns, lemon juice....the peaches taste delicious and the syrup can be kept for up to 3 months in the fridge...
....freezing foods & bakes while you're moving....i admire you!
Greetings from the south Coast of England! I never even thought of freezing peaches, to be honest I didn't know you could do it?!
While I am here I would just like to say; I have been following your lovely blog for ages now, though not much late spring and through the summer as I am always madly busy with foreign language students; somehow I seem to have missed why you are moving on from your lovely home, which I am sure you will miss very much ... I know I will! God Speed.
Thank you for taking time to leave a comment--I love reading each and every one! I will try to answer any questions you have in the comment section. Due to the amount of spam, I am sadly no longer able to accept Anonymous comments....Kindly, Deb
